A Gift Of Love From FiveSok this Valentine’s Day
It is a season of love. As the young people say, love is in the air and romance is ruling the atmosphere. Some are going to receive roses and some not. Some are expecting gifts and some not. It is all about love and lots of it.
FiveSok is giving out a special Valentine’s Day gift to its customers who will post or request a service on the platform to Tuesday for the first time.
The online marketplace, one of its own kind in Kenya, is giving out 500 shillings for one to kick start his or her FiveSok business if the person will be posting or requesting for a service.
According to the Chief Executive Officer and founder of FiveSok, Mr. Emmanuel Soroba, the customers will receive the money as credit in their FiveSok account as soon as soon they post a service or request for one for the first time.
“In order to show our love this Valentine’s season, we are giving you (customer) 500 shillings to kick start your FiveSok business,” he said in a brief statement on Sunday.
“The customer will receive the money as credit in the FiveSok account. The money, however, can only be used to purchase services on FiveSok platform,” he added.
FiveSok is an online marketplace that enables buyers to meet and interact as well as purchase skills from experts. FiveSok now gives an opportunity to thousands of unemployed Kenyan youth to showcase their skill to potential buyers in what has been seen as an innovation that will greatly help in solving the unemployment menace in the country.
The skills posted on FiveSok range from 500 shillings to 5000 shillings making them affordable across the board and easy to access.
What is more is that FiveSok gets hold of the payments until the work is done to the satisfaction of the buyer.
